This Side UP! Family Center is honored to have been selected as a local non-profit who will provide volunteers (and receive funding for doing so) to fuel this amazing community event!
Volunteers will sell tickets / wristbands for the activities in the Kids’ Fun Zone. Each volunteer will receive a 3 day admission pass for the Festival, a volunteer parking pass for the day they volunteer, and our appreciation for their time and energy!!

The best way to protect children from abuse is having positive, open communication with them on an ongoing basis starting when they are young. This Side UP! Family is again honored to have been selected as a local non-profit who will provide volunteers (and receive funding for doing so) to fuel this amazing community event!
Volunteers will sell tickets / wristbands to attendees for the activities in the Kids’ Fun Zone. Each volunteer will receive a 3 day admission pass for the Festival, a volunteer parking pass for the day they volunteer, and our appreciation for their time and energy!!

This challenge starts Friday, 2/12 and goes through Monday 2/15.

This challenge starts Friday, 3/25 and goes through Sunday, 3/27.

This Month’s Topic – How to Choose the Right Attorney for YOU
Join other single parents for encouragement and connection! This month, we’re going to change things up a little bit. We want to hear your stories about how the legal process has been for you. Was it easy or hard? Fairly inexpensive, or ridiculously pricey? Did you work with an attorney that you like, or did you feel that they did not look out for your best interests?
Let’s have a discussion and learn from each other! Our Estate Planning Attorney, Lisa Sharp, will be with us to help answer some questions. She used to be a Family Law Attorney, and she has a lot of great information.
This month’s Single Side UP! meeting is held at Chase Oaks Family Center. Childcare is provided onsite as space is available for single parents attending the meeting.
