Spend an hour with incredible parenting experts and other parents! (You can even register for a FREE 30-minute one-on-one Parent Coaching Session following each POWER HOUR) Sep. 11 – “You Want Me to Buy You What?” Teaching Children about Money Money... What an emotionally charged topic.  And yet we, as parents need guidance on what to give, when to give and for what we should pay.  Instilling good money habits in our children is arguably one of life’s most important lessons.  Teaching our children how to manage and save money is crucial, so we’ll talk through practical tools to start with the basics and build on them!       This Month's Family Value - Focus on Finances! Join us for a FREE 90-minute seminar that’ll de-stress and bless your family on the topic of wills and planning for the future! What is a Will?  How do wills work?  What big problems are left to my family if I pass away without a will?  The Settle Law Firm will be here to educate on the important documents you need to have in place (declarations of guardianship, a “living” will, medical power of attorney and more) to make sure you are in good shape! Leave with some documents and/or valuable resources that will help put these important pieces in place for your family!  Jnana Settle, attorney, will hold a question/answer time at the end, too! Childcare registration available: Free childcare will be provided for kids ages 0 through 13 with a valid childcare registration on a first come, first serve basis!   Space is limited in all childcare rooms, so sign up early to ensure a spot.  If using childcare, please arrive a few minutes early so you can check-in your children before class starts at 2pm.

    TSUFamily Connection Nights are a much-needed blast of family fun and connection! This Month's Family Value is DREAM BIG!  We will spend time making family vision boards and 2020 family bucket lists.  We will provide all materials!  Just bring yourselves and your ideas!! We'll enjoy a great evening of fun activities and family time!  Go home with a Family Tool that will help cultivate and elevate our monthly family value at home.  Yes, everything's totally FREE! 2020 has been a hard year for all of us.  Isolation, job loss, at home learning, tough health decisions, and the current political climate can make us feel like we’re farther apart than ever.   Everything has looked different this year, but there is one thing that’s still the same for everyone,  we all love our families. Every dollar you give to This Side UP! Family goes directly into supporting ALL families with at home date nights, family connection nights, parenting education, and more. We’re all learning new ways to be together and we at This Side UP! Family are so grateful to be going into our 10th year of celebrating and strengthening family.  Your donations will help us start 2021 strong with in person programming, new COVID protocols, more virtual resources, and all the tools we need to continue supporting what we all have in common- family.
