All single parents and their children are invited to attend our Clothing Giveaway, hosted by the Single Side UP! program of This Side UP! Family Center.

There is no limit on the amount of items each family can take.  We do ask that you only take what is needed for your family and that you do not use the clothing for resale purposes.  We’ll have newborn to plus size clothing for boys, girls, men, and women.

We will unveil a Community Leader’s fabulously fun TBT photo on our Facebook page for each $1000 raised! Plus, POST your own TBT family photo or bring a copy of one by the Center from 10am-2pm as we build a TBT photo display! VOTE on the Funniest and Most Awkward Photos of the day! Complimentary TBT Snacks and Sodas On-Site from 10am-2pm, too!

This Side UP! Family Center is honored to have been selected as a local non-profit who will provide volunteers (and receive funding for doing so) to fuel this amazing community event!

Volunteers will sell tickets / wristbands for the activities in the Kids’ Fun Zone. Each volunteer will receive a 3 day admission pass for the Festival, a volunteer parking pass for the day they volunteer, and our appreciation for their time and energy!!

As a parent, it may be tempting to deny the realities of drug danger and say “Not my child!” But, there is no denying children are strongly influenced by their environment, and drugs and alcohol are definitely a part of the environment in which our children are growing. The best way to protect children from abuse is having positive, open communication with them on an ongoing basis starting when they are young. Children normally don’t speak up if they are being abused but are more likely to if they have a trusted adult who has proactive communication with them already. Ellen White, from the YMCA, will speak to us about protecting our children.
