The best way to protect children from abuse is having positive, open communication with them on an ongoing basis starting when they are young. Children normally don’t speak up if they are being abused but are more likely to if they have a trusted adult who has proactive communication with them already. Having to deal with home repairs and maintenance by yourself can be tough!  Whether you rent an apartment or own a house, it’s important to understand the basics.  Holly Kreisner, the owner of Mr. Fix-It Fast, will join us and teach us how to fix some small problems, and prevent the big ones, in our homes!  Join other single parents for encouragement and connection!
