Lucky Duck Duck Race Has Gone Online
We were planning to host our annual Duck Race at Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center, but the Corona Virus had other plans. We know it is not the same but we hope you will join us for the fun activities we have planned for the Lucky Duck Duck Race 2020.
Yes we are having a virtual race and yes there will be big prizes! You could be our big winner of a $500 VISA Gift Card!

Duck Adoptions!
Virtual ducks are up for adoption. You can adopt a single duck for $5, a Quack Pack of 5 ducks for $20, a Quacker Party of 30 ducks for $100, or send a duck on vacation for $20 for a tax deduction.
Online duck adoptions run from June 1st through 4pm on July 31st. You do not need to be online at the time of the virtual race to win. Your duck numbers will be assigned to you via email upon adoption. Click HERE to adopt ducks for the big race! (Ducks will be running in a “random draw” race therefore ducks will be adopted in sequential order.)
Family Duck Portrait!
- Download a Family Duck Portrait
- Name and decorate your Family Duck with supplies you already have at home
- Submit your entry for the contest between July 1st and July 15th
- Take a picture of your Family Duck Portrait
- Send the picture to TSUF by email info@thissideupfamily.org by July 15th
- Prize – People’s Choice Award
- Look for the Photo Album on TSUF Facebook Page on July 16th to vote for your favorite Family Duck Portrait
- Voting runs from July 16th-July 30th
- Winner will be decided by the the number of Facebook Likes and Comments

Flock of Ducks!
Our ducks are racing from the pool to your yard! Send a surprise flock of ducks for a day of quarantine to the front yard of your friends, family, neighbor, or colleague. Flocks will be delivered daily from June 15 – July 15. Open to the City of Plano or within 5 miles of Plano city limits.
- Small Flock (10 duck signs) – $25 donation
- Large Flock (20 duck signs) – $50 donation
If you are worried a flock of ducks will not add to your lawn decor, purchase anti-flocking insurance for a $30 donation and we will make sure your lawn stays duck free.
If your yard gets flocked and you do not want the ducks quarantined with you for a full 24 hrs. A $10 donation will provide an early release flock removal and a $30 donation will remove and migrate the flock to another yard of your choice, more quickly.
