to stop operations.

10 years. Wow!
In 2010 our Founder (along with an incredible team of community
volunteers and supporters) had a vision to create an organization
that moved families from merely surviving to actually thriving
together. Over the past decade, This Side UP! Family has
served thousands of families (average 727 per year)
and seen relationships restored, parents equipped,
marriages saved, single parents championed;
the list goes on and on.vvvvvvvvv
As you all know, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has made it impossible to hold our in-person programming and services since March, and will most likely cause cancelations well into 2021.

In light of this reality, This Side UP! Family has made the
difficult decision to stop operations. This is not a decision
we made lightly, and our board and leadership weighed
many options before coming to this conclusion.
Families and parents, we know this is a tough season and
many of you still have pressing needs right now.
The following organizations can help provide necessary resources:
- Trusted World, clothing and resource organization
- Emily’s Place, safe place for families escaping domestic abuse
- BedStart Ministries, provides furniture for families in need
In times of crisis, you can email info@thissideupfamily.org for
connection to additional resources.
If you are able, please consider making a financial donation to one of the above organizations as they continue fighting for families in our community.
THANKFUL. GRATEFUL. BLESSED. Those words don’t
even begin to describe the depth of gratitude we have
for the opportunity to witness the trajectory of so many
families changed over the past decade. We will remain
forever thankful to our amazing donors and volunteers
who made this possible. You have helped us change lives!

“If you want to make a difference, go home and love your
family.” We have certainly loved being a part of yours.
