This Side UP! Family has partnered with Plano Public Library System to bring an invaluable, empowering Parenting POWER HOUR Series in Fall 2016!!

Informative panel-style discussions with amazing Parenting Experts who will equip and empower parents of Elementary through High School Age Kids on the following topics:

9/20 TOPIC – AVOID HELICOPTER HOMEWORKING AND DEVELOP GREAT STUDY HABITS!
Come hear Lead PISD Parent Educator, Cynthia Garrison and PISD Assistant Principal Karma Cunningham share from their combined 34 years of expertise dealing with parent/child relationships on this important topic! Leave equipped to have a less stressful yet more productive year in the topic of Homework and building great study habits into your kids!!!

11/15 – Boundary Battles and Control Issues
12/13 – Social Media 101 and How to Connect via Technology

POWER HOURS are FREE to the community. Water and Light Snacks Provided. We’ll send you home with additional resources on each particular parenting topic, too.
