This Side UP! Family and the Plano Public Library system are partners to equip and empower parents on This Side UP! Family Value of the Month. Spend an hour with incredible parenting experts and other parents! (You can even register for a FREE 30-minute one-on-one Parent Coaching Session following each POWER HOUR)

Nov. 13 – Have an Attitude of Gratitude
 “I am the only kid in school that does not have one.”  “Everyone else does.”  “I have to have it.”   Teaching children the difference between “want” and “need” can be the first step towards raising confident, resilient, and successful children.  Learn how to cultivate an attitude of gratitude in your home and cure your kids of the entitlement epidemic.

POWER HOURS are FREE to the community.   Water and Light Snacks Provided.   (We’ll send you home with additional resources on each particular parenting topic, too.)

Following each Power Hour, there will be FREE 30-minute Parent Coaching Sessions from 7:45-8:45 pm.   This Free Parent Coaching is ONLY available to parents who also attend that evening’s Power Hour from 6:30 – 7:30pm.    Click HERE to reserve your 30 minute coaching session for November 13th!
