While we have been offering 3rd Saturday childcare for some time now, it has come to our attention that people thought this was only available for those who have received a gift card through the “I Date My Spouse” Program or for single parents attending our Single Side UP! Group. That’s NOT the case! So we’ve given it a more official, tried and true name: PARENTS NIGHT OUT!
PNO Childcare is open to all parents and kids!!! Kids... ages 0 through 13 years (14 and up can contact us about volunteering). Space is limited in the 0-3 year old area, so sign up early to ensure your spot. We need to know the ages of all kids so that we staff our volunteers well, too!

We hope you will join This Side UP! Family on August 15th at the Historic Downtown Plano Association's first ever Chalk-It-Up Art Contest and Movie Night! This is a FREE Event for the whole family! Your family can enter to win cool prizes by creating your own pavement art! Come watch Professional Chalk Artists do their thing and play chalk games at the TSUF Tent! Then stay to watch the "UP" Movie on a big, inflatable screen at 8:30pm. Bring your own picnic! Snow Cones, Water and Popcorn available! Join us for a FREE 90-minute seminar that’ll de-stress and bless your family on the topic of wills and planning for the future! What is a Will? How do wills work? What big problems are left to my family if I pass away without a will? The Settle Law Firm will be here to educate on the important documents you need to have in place (declarations of guardianship, a “living” will, medical power of attorney and more) to make sure you are in good shape! Leave with some documents and/or valuable resources that will help put these important pieces in place for your family! Jnana Settle, attorney, will hold a question/answer time at the end, too! These kits will include a Talk Time Card for parents (homework for your date), a $25 gift card for dinner from a local restaurant, a $5 Amazon gift card to rent a movie or other family activity, and various activities to keep kids busy during your date time.
