At drop-off, we will provide each couple with a Talk Time card to be discussed during the meal (different relevant topics each month). This intentional couple time will provide a real, tangible way to focus on your relationship and help move you from surviving to THRIVING! Each couple who submits their Talk Time actions by the Sunday deadline, will be entered to WIN a FAMILY NIGHT OUT Prize Package.
Parent’s Date Night Childcare is open to all parents and kid, ages 0 through 13 years (14 and up can contact us about volunteering). Space is limited in the 0-3 year old area, so sign up early to ensure your spot!!! Parent’s Date Night Gift Card quantities ARE limited and available only to Parents of those signed up for childcare.

Single Parent Group meets the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7pm – 8:30pm, but this month we meet at 6:00. Join Diane Windsor as she facilitates this support group. We will tackle practical, every-day issues such as …Personal Finances, Feeding your family healthy, Low cost, easy meals, Answers to some legal questions, Co-Parenting, Teaching your kids how to have healthy relationships, and much more!

All single parents and their children are invited to attend our Clothing Giveaway, hosted by the Single Side UP! program of This Side UP! Family Center.
There is no limit on the amount of items each family can take. We do ask that you only take what is needed for your family and that you do not use the clothing for resale purposes. We’ll have newborn to plus size clothing for boys, girls, men, and women.

In the spirit of football season having kicked into high gear, we are excited to let you know that Sci-Tech Discovery Center will be here to introduce their new Football Exhibit.
So, Join us for a night of old fashioned bingo FUN and find out how fun it is to combine football and science…!! We’ll get a glimpse into… different aspect of the game, from the physics of tackling to the balance needed for cheerleading with a mixture of artifacts, text, videos and hands-on activities.

This Side UP! Family Center is honored to have been selected as a local non-profit who will provide volunteers (and receive funding for doing so) to fuel this amazing community event!
Volunteers will sell tickets / wristbands for the activities in the Kids’ Fun Zone. Each volunteer will receive a 3 day admission pass for the Festival, a volunteer parking pass for the day they volunteer, and our appreciation for their time and energy!!
