Come enjoy art, singing, dance and more creations from youth in our community and help them make a difference in the lives of Marissa’s House orphanage in Uganda!
PLUS… Participate as a family in creating a Heart Pillow (a project of Mission Possible Kids) to be sent directly to the kids at Marrissa’s House to show them love!
*Optional $1 Raffle Tickets will be sold at the door that can be used to “buy” items. Free Single Parent / Kids Clothing Giveaway

All single parents and their children are invited to attend our Clothing Giveaway, hosted by the Single Side UP! program of This Side UP! Family Center.

There is no limit on the amount of items each family can take.  We do ask that you only take what is needed for your family and that you do not use the clothing for resale purposes.  We’ll have newborn to plus size clothing for boys, girls, men, and women.

(Clothing Donations are always appreciated.  Drop-off at This Side UP! Family Center, Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm or from 6:00pm-8:30pm on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Saturday of the month)

FREE Babysitting Night for Single Parents!

You deserve a night out, or at least a little time to yourself! Drop off the kids (ages 0 -13) for a few hours at This Side Up Family Center, for Free babysitting.

(Numerous spots for ages 4 and up, but, space is limited to a maximum of 15 spots in the 0-3 year old room and will be first-come, first-serve.)

Single parenting has many challenges. Connecting with other single parents is important to both your parenting success & your personal well-being!

Single Parent Group meets the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7pm – 8:30pm, but this month we start at 6:00pm.  Join Diane Windsor as she facilitates this support group. We will tackle practical, every-day issues such as …Personal Finances, Feeding your family healthy, Low cost, easy meals, Answers to some legal questions, Co-Parenting, Teaching your kids how to have healthy relationships, and much more!

Low cost childcare (kids ages 0-13yrs) is offered for our Single Side UP! members attending this month’s SSU meeting during this time!!! Space is limited in our 0-3 yr old area, so sign up early to ensure your spot.  (Payment is non-refundable)

Kids RoboTech Club will provide a FUN FREE NIGHT of Robotics, Science and Virtual Reality for families!

Kids RoboTech Club is a locally owned company that offers Robotics, Video Game Design, Minecraft, Science, and Art Summer Camps for kids ages 5 – 14 at THIS SIDE UP! Family Center this Summer.

As always … Come on out for a night of good ole ‘fashioned community FUN! Bring your own dinner or purchase snacks/drinks from the $1 Cafe.  Go home with a tool to elevate our monthly value, Thriving Families make mealtime a priority!!
