Holiday Pampering Party for Single Parents:
– A 20 minute yoga session. Simple, not too crazy, just to stretch, and relax.

PLUS, a fun family connect activity – the Plano Symphony Orchestra’s Instrument Petting Zoo will be here for the kids to enjoy their own hands-on experience! “I Date My Spouse!” Marriage Enrichment Night sponsored by This Side UP! Family Center, and AMAZING area restaurants! 6-9pm, third Saturday night every month.
Drop your kids off at This Side UP! Family Center and they will enjoy a FUN evening of games, bingo, and more. At drop-off, pick up a Restaurant Card to dine for FREE that evening – thanks to amazing area restaurants who believe in the need for marriage enrichment, too! We will provide each couple with a Talk Time card to be discussed during the meal (different relevant topics each month). This intentional couple time will provide a real, tangible way to focus on your marriage and help move you from surviving to THRIVING! Each couple who completes their Talk Time (we don’t see any of your completed ‘stuff’, don’t worry!) will be entered to WIN a FAMILY NIGHT OUT Prize Package.

Robots-4-U was such a hit last year that we’ve invited them again and they have excitedly agreed to BRING THE ROBOTS and join us for a FREE FAMILY CONNECTION NIGHT with robots to play with, a robot craft and a ROBOT SHOW!

While we have been offering 3rd Saturday childcare for some time now, it has come to our attention that people thought this was only available for those who have received a gift card through the “I Date My Spouse” Program or for single parents attending our Single Side UP! Group. That’s NOT the case! So we’ve given it a more official, tried and true name: PARENTS NIGHT OUT!
PNO Childcare is open to all parents and kids!!! Kids… ages 0 through 13 years (14 and up can contact us about volunteering). Space is limited in the 0-3 year old area, so sign up early to ensure your spot. We need to know the ages of all kids so that we staff our volunteers well, too!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and starts at 12:01am on the first of each month! Every 3rd Saturday from 6-9pm. We get to have a blast with your kids while you enjoy a Night Out!

Single Parent Group meets the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7pm – 8:30pm. Join Diane Windsor as she facilitates this support group. We will tackle practical, every-day issues such as …Personal Finances, Feeding your family healthy, Low cost, easy meals, Answers to some legal questions, Co-Parenting, Teaching your kids how to have healthy relationships, and much more! Free Single Parent / Kids Clothing Giveaway
All single parents and their children are invited to attend our Clothing Giveaway, hosted by the Single Side UP! program of This Side UP! Family Center.
There is no limit on the amount of items each family can take. We do ask that you only take what is needed for your family and that you do not use the clothing for resale purposes. We’ll have newborn to plus size clothing for boys, girls, men, and women.
(Clothing Donations are always appreciated. Drop-off at This Side UP! Family Center, Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm or from 6:00pm-8:30pm on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Saturday of the month)
