This Month’s Topic: Keeping Our Kids Safe!
The best way to protect children from abuse is having positive, open communication with them on an ongoing basis starting when they are young. Children normally don’t speak up if they are being abused but are more likely to if they have a trusted adult who has proactive communication with them already. Ellen White, from the YMCA, will speak to us about protecting our children.
Childcare is only $5.00 per family (pre-registration is needed to ensure space).
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for childcare and starts at 12:01am on the first of each month! Click HERE to register for childcare during November’s Single Side UP! Meeting.
(Every 3rd Saturday!)
The Single Parent Group meeting is taking a break in December and will resume again on January 17th, 2015.
We hope that you will join us for a great Family Connection Night on December 13th from 6-8:00 pm. We will play Bingo … plus each family will decorate a gingerbread house together and take them home! Please check out our calendar event for December 13!
